I'm just waiting on an update, launch is overdue for a number of reasons but from what I hear the wait is going to be well worth it - hopefully I'll be able to post an update early next week. For those that don't want/need a full blown diagnostic/service tool there is an Australian 'firm' Tuneboy who have developed an electronic cruise control and a system/software that can interface with the Mitsubishi ECU to carry out a limited number of tasks....far from an actual diagnostic tool though but worth a look - search on the ducati.ns forum where there is a huge discussion ;-) Don't rush out and buy just yet though as I have no idea how prices will compare, lets see what news I have to post next week;-) TuneBoy - Engine Management Systems
Final push!.... Ok we're almost there but for the R&D work to be completed sooner rather than later you need to show your interest by sending an email.... Help me give Technoresearch R&D a push; we just need more people writing in directly asking about the new tool, to show R&D and management that the tool has a market, real market and that people will purchase it; Technoresearch have recorded 50 people that have joined the mailing list plus maybe another 25 from general/sales inquiry through their website apparently, regarding the Mitsubishi tool, this, from all around the world.....so we need more ;-) If it’s only that amount of people, R&D will not push forward at the pace they should. Their website has a contact tab, it can be used in General Inquiry or Sales Inquiry or Technical Support. Either under the Sales > Direct tab or Support > Contact Contact Us :: TechnoResearch Inc
email sent. I see you're dealing with Technoresearch now, I guess Hexcode weren't interested enough. Have you posted this on the Ducati.ms forum as well Andy?
I hope their customer support has improved since their last Ducati diagnostic tool as they never responded to my issues with it and left me with a $400 door-stop!
I bought their "DirectLink" kit for the IAW15M and every time I connected to an ECU it asked me to dump the ecu and email it to TR who would then update the config files to work with that ECU. I did this loads of times but never got any response. I tried calling, I tried emailing but no response. As the kit wouldn't connect to the ECU without the config files, it was useless. This was in 2007-8.
Hello ALL, Thank you for your interest in the forthcoming Centurion S for Mitsubishi ECU as found in Diavel and MTS1200 motorcycles. We are in the almost final stages of development for the tool. As you can imagine, I am unable to give an exact timeframe of when the tool will be available, but, please, join our mailing list, this way when the tool is ready to come out to market, we can email you and give you all the information BEFORE, the tool is officially launched and you can have first dibs at it. You can also visit our FB page for news, update availability and new releases. If you know of more riders interested in the tool, please let them know we are working on it and to join our mailing list. Thanks TBR The guy I've been talking to was unable to commit yet but my impression was that it would be the same sort of cost as the existing Centurion tools i.e. us$230 (£150) which if it is imho worth every penny....but we'll have to wait and see. Of course for us in the UK there's potential additions to that flat cost....VAT/import duty! :-( May be potential for a group buy maybe? Yes, I was never able to get all the info Hex were after or demonstrate enough interest at the time.......and I found that Technoresearch were already on the case Yes posted on ducati.ms Hopefully Derek's experience is more typical and you were just unlucky for some reason..........they've been helpful and quick of the mark responding to all my enquiries. For anyone new to the thread....
Back to the top to keep the momentum going....interested?...follow the link below and let TechnoResearch know ;-)
Just a thought. Since the Mitsubishi ECU is fitted to the Diavel and Panigale and most probably on the new Hyperstrada and 2013 Hypermotard would it be an idea to mention this on these forums too?
Good point.....I did post in the General Ducati Discussion some time back, will look that post up and update ;-)

Excellent. As one who has registered an interest I thought I would heard something from about any progress they were making, but since registering in the middle of May I haven't heard a cheep.
