  3. Any welding close ups?

I run a fabrication company so if you ever need any little bits laser cutting and pressing that you can’t be bothered to do by hand let me know.

  7. You got the straps sorted then, looks good

  8. Yeh, used Yamaha TZ ones in the end which are 40mm wide :):upyeah:

  9. IMHO those fuel filler caps need to be recessed so that they sit flush with the tank top, either in their "circle" or as a an "oval" around both if you get my drift.

  10. Uber cool project...

  11. Considered this for a while - domed like many alloy race tanks or dished like many production tanks - but the bike, (other than the modern suspension, brakes and wheels) is a homage to the original - so I stuck with flush. This also allowed the fillers to be closer together, not quite as close as the originals were as they were nearly touching, but close enough to look similar in position :):upyeah:

  13. What’s the score with right hand fork leg? Is it some kind of mechanical anti-dive

    Btw.... Great work Mr

  14. No, the anti dive is mechanical at the rear of the forks - not sure what the rods do at the front, can only think it's a damping adjustment.
