Done my back in removing the old rotten decking in the garden a couple of days ago. Copious amounts of codeine giving me wierd nightmares but not really killing the pain No more housework for me.
Changed the fork seal on the Hyper - went out for a test ride, went to Halfords to take back a half in Ratchet that started to fall to pieces....they swapped it over without question....top stuff Halfords....first time ive needed the warranty and no hassle atall. On a roll when i got home one of the jobs i was doing a few weeks back was re-laying my patio out the back of the house...using my old SDS hammer drill (in kango mode) to lift the dodgy slabs - right at the end it failed....its been with me for 25 years...i thought "viking burial for this one...shes done me proud...." - (renovated 2 houses with that drill) so when i got home thought id pull it apart and see what was wrong with it...turned out to be the bearing at the back of the armature had collapsed. Googled Bosch spares and fuck me sideways with a bat bosch hold a complete set of spares for them....£7.60 for a new bearing - in the post....seriously chuffed... You know youve hit middle age when your over the moon fixing an old drill...

I think it was on for 50 offered him 30 (carriage was a 5ver) and he took it....ill just keep an eye out and get another if i see another OEM one on the cheap Just clicked on the link....those look right - even the grease on the insides looks the same....ill get those next...
