A little place called Bellaria( Emilia romagna region),we stay with them during the Misano Motogp, Misano is a 15 minute train ride.
On the Adricate side and very handy for the above,i spent a day on the Rimini beach many moons ago,which i enjoyed with a girlfriend.
Also handy for Bologna and the Ducati museum and factory tour( Done it twice) while the wife goes shopping!!
Only the once for me back in 2001 which i absolutely enjoyed and would recommend for any traveler in that part of the world.women and shopping i just don't get it.
