  11. Yes, there was something about them, not particularly powerful but "6.6 litre" in gold on the bonnet shaker had a certain street cred back in the day.

  13. Plus you could pretend you had a young Sally Field in the pass seat and she just loves a bad boy!
     
  14. You could dry your hair as the fuel guage went down so fast, I had a Formula 400, same engine, not quick, just fucking noisy.
     
  15. You did the timing using a calendar.

    RPM's? Forget about it, we are talking minutes per rev. The engine could not have been said to have been stressed.

    My Dad had a friend who owned an old Plymouth, maybe from the 50's or maybe early 60's? Nice family car, relaxed, comfortable, with an 8-litre engine.
     
  16. There were some big lumps around then, I nearly ended up with a Dodge Charger, 440 six pack magnum, three speed manual, 10 to the gallon if you took it easy, single figures most of the time, alright in a straightish line.

  18. In the flesh, one of the most beautiful cars I have even seen as I was lucky enough to see one in Conversano in the early 90's. Staggeringly beautiful !! :upyeah::cool:
