  1. Hi everyone,
New to the forum so here is my introduction. I live in Horten a small town south of Oslo. After a loooong relationship with a Yamaha TDM 850 i decided it was time for a bit of change, so i got a Multistrada Granturismo.

I am getting my new/old bike in 2 days and can't wait to get it on the road.

I picked this particular bike because:
    - I'm tall, almost 2m, and it suits me.
    - I ride day trips sometimes 2 up, and sometimes i go touring. And love the adjustability of the suspension and the integration of the luggage (no scaffolding making the bike wider than a car).
    - People told me to get a BMW GS, but i'm a rebel
    - And of course performance and LOOKS!

This is «Suleskarvegen» going east/west in the South of Norway. Picture is from may 29th when the road opened for summer.
It´s a spectacular ride. Up to 9m of snow, and summer temperatures.

  19. Welcome. I used to contract for the UK arm of an Norwegian company and I once visited Norway in July. Nobody was at work! With those really long days that you get at this time of the year, I can see why nobody is at work! Ambition to ride to Oslo one day (in summer) but it's a long way!
