1260 New Bike New Mods...

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by Bob_Cooper, Jun 3, 2019.

  1. So picked up my brand new 1260S on Saturday having traded in my 2010 Multi after 9 years of loyal service.

Started on the mods already with a navihalter mount and a WRS light smoke screen which I think looks spot on.

I have some Evotech guards to fit and a Termi D193 end can, few other bits and pieces too.

I'll post as I add more bits.

  2. Lovely bike. Don't forget to fit both rad guards, and a fender extender. I also added clear plastic paint guard patches to vulnerable places like the fork legs above the front mudguard. There are dings on them that shows they have done a good job. I have since noticed stone chips in the front guard around the lower fork legs. I'll have to add some patches there too.

  4. Well done. Very Nice. In addition to the Evotech bits and the Navihalter, here's a few things I added in order of importance:

    • Short Pazzo Levers. This is very personal but can't stand long levers.
    • Throttle Spacers to remove the awful slop.
    • AntiGravity Lithium Battery for a huge weight saving at a highest center of gravity.
    • Currently working on changing the gearing to +2R.
    • Tires will be next.

  5. I think that's what I used. I couldn't remember the name of it.

  6. Thanks everyone, I have some short levers to fit. Was going to get Pazzo but the price is a joke so went with Evotech ones, they look identical. I've ordered the throttle spacer and I am thinking about dropping a tooth on the front sprocket, I did this on my previous 1200 and it was a good change but the sprocket cost a fortune I seem to remember. I've also ordered some heli tape.

  8. Nice...it is the best colour, and the fastest I've heard....;)

  9. For us here in Canada, Passo's are less expensive give the FX rate and shipping. EP makes great products.
Either way you'll love those shorty's.

  10. So, radiator and oil cooler guards fitted, also SW motech tank bag. I've fitted the Ducati spacer to get rid of the slack. Things left to do include short levers and head and header pipe guard.

  12. Update: Spark titanium link pipe fitted to the Termi D193, sounds....brutish! Still waiting for the dB killer which should arrive late June.

Had some powder coating done too.
