848 Evo - First Ride

  1. OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!

    Not only my first ride on a Ducati, but my first ever sports bike. I don't think I could have picked a better one!

    It was delivered this afternoon and I've just got back from a 45min blast to test it out. It is phenominal! The throttle response, the brakes...my god the brakes! I was expecting it to be lary, and quick, but I wasn't prepared for the full onslaught of the senses. It was a bit mental at first because it felt so completely alien compared to my other bike, but I kind of enjoyed that.

    I'm exhausted, my upper back aches and its a bit tricky to type with my aching writsts, but damn what an exhilerating experience! Mind:blown. Now I just have to learn to ride it properly!

  10. Wrists ache,back aches,bum aches,all balanced by the fact u will need to fill up every 90 miles,I quite enjoy filling up to get some relief :) enjoy

  16. Ps. Your wrists will ache for three weeks, and you'll wonder why the hell you bought it. Stick with it. You get used to the more focused stance and you'll love the bike :upyeah:
