  1. I said to the wife this lunchtime "Elsie, what would you do if I won the lottery?"

"I'd take half of it and then leave you Ron"

"Great" I said, "I've won nine quid, here's four pounds fifty, keep in touch"

  2. Rode the Scrambler over Dundry hill , pass Chew Valley Lake , thru Blagdon , thru Burrington Combe , across the Mendips , down into Cheddar , stopped for a coffee , then headed to Wells , pass the Mendip transmitter , pass the Castle of comfort , pass Chew Valley Lake then onto home . It was busy in Cheddar today lots of car enthusiasts , saw 3 lambos parked up , plenty of bikes parked up in the gorge , great weather for it .

  3. Sublime late evening spin over the mountains from my folks house !! Not the fastest or most direct for the lockdown rules but the analogue 1098 is addictive , had to give her a wash to get all the dirty dirty flys of her o_O

  5. My phone has just insulted me.
On a brand new phone I used the front camera and it told me to clean the lens for a better picture...
the lighting is perfect and if i point the camera at something else the message goes away!

  10. Had a good 100 mile ride on my Monster 1200 R in the sunshine this morning, then did an oil and filter change on the same bike, so of course had to go out for another 20 miles to make sure all was good. It was. A nice Chinese meal from our local Chinese, first time in ten weeks, as he has been closed because of Covid. And a few beers in the garden in the sun. All in all a good day.

  16. About to go round the neighbours for ‘coffee’

in my defence I’ve made sourdough, painted two window cills, touched up ceiling in bedroom and did a 3 mile walk first thing :)

Oh better not complain about what’s for tea later :)
