  1. You can see once I drew a file over it a few times the gap and it goes in

  2. So I need to get my spindle machined?
You can see how the standard block fits the spindle and the way it doesn’t on the new adjuster

  3. Did you give the flat on the spindle a lick of a file Jamie ?

  4. The measurements we worked to were exactly to the Gilles ones.
The OEM block is baggy in comparison it seems. If your happy to do so all you need to do is run a file around it a few times. I literally took 0.2mm off this pins flange to true up the diameter and 3-4 passes of a file on the flats to pull them right then it drops in.

  5. yes if they are all the same as the one I have here they are about 0.25mm off-center.

  6. Ok, cool, I’ll have a look at it later. Cheers

  7. it's my fault I didn't get the OEM pin here until we had finished the machining so we trusted the Gilles parts to be right or have enough play for it to not be a problem.

  8. if anyone has any issues let me know or if they are not happy we will try to sort it for you.

  9. Anyone know about the back plates? Where they are meant to sit? Cheers

  10. I'd rather file and snug mine in so it looks nice and tidy !!

  11. Thank buddy.

  12. Jamie’s done a great job - if all that is required is a teeny bit of filing on the flat of the spindle then I think that’s the least of our worries.

  13. Oh yeh he’s done a cracking job, I’ll get the file out later. Do you know where the back plates should sit?

  14. Unfortunately, I do not. My Gilles originals didn’t have those plates and the Gilles copies on my trackbike don’t either.

  18. The "nose" of the small bracket clamps on the inside of the swingarm. Not in the hole.
The studs on the back of the swingarm can stay as they are.

Just align the small bracket with the 2 holes (on the adjuster themselves) looking from the outside. There's only 1 logical way of fitting them.

2 m6 screws go from the outside of the adjuster and will screw into the threads of the small brackets on the inside of the swingarm. So the swingarm is literally sandwiched in-between.

  19. My spindle was spot on with equal flats within 0.01mm - just had to take a little off the radius to fit snugly :):upyeah:
