Warranty Extension

  1. Ducati have extended the warranty by 3 months in very limited circumstances - to quote the email "Free Warranty Extension
Ducati has extended the standard warranty for three months free of charge for all owners of a Ducati, whose warranty has a deadline between 1 March 2020 and 31 May 2020. You will be contacted by your Purchasing Ducati Dealer. "
This is far less than MV Agusta did - and whilst my warranty is 2 years away (nearly) I'd have been miffed if my warranty expired 1st June and I didn't get the extension.

  2. Why? Service centers are back open so no extension needed.

  3. If your warranty ended June 1 then if you had a problem in late March you’d be bang out of luck.

  4. Not at all, had you logged the issue it will be dealt with, as the warranty concerns itself with when it went wrong, not when it was fixed, that's why everyone gets their last service in the last week of their warranty, doesn't mean it gets fixed before the warranty expires.

  5. Except the dealers weren’t open and weren’t taking calls. I know because my V2 was due its first service. Phones not answered.

  6. They were all answering emails and DUK has remained fully operational. I've spoken with multiple dealers and DUK during lockdown.

  7. That’s bloody good news.
