Finally got around to fitting new chain and sprockets! Can’t believe how shite the oem ones were on such a lovely bike! Scuse quality of the pic!
Random question....on my phone so not reakly good for searching...jens bbq...anyone know whats happening with that?
Agree, fitted a Renthal carrier and sprocket with nice shiny gold chain recently and it transforms the bike, added bonus of inexpensive replacement sprockets which are quick and easy to change.
Had a good day yesterday. Decided to catch the last of the sunny days ( for this period) and went for a spin around Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. Avoided main roads as much as I could. Fantastic tree lined roads with rays of sun shining through. I’ve only had a couple of ride outs to deliver meds so this was great fun. When I got back my Scott leather jacket had arrived after being repaired and altered. As usual Jim’s team at Scott Leathers did a fantastic job, I was over the moon. Neck altered and two new titanium shoulder protectors, it rounded off a good day.
Whilst in a deep slumber this morning my dreams tuned into a dog whining in the distance so of course I thought I was imagining it and drifted off but all of a sudden I remembered that when I took the dogs out last thing my old Labrador Barney was a bit loose if you know what I mean so I jumped out of bed and into my shorts before rushing to where my dogs live in the utility room. Alas I was too late the poor old boy had done his best to hold it in but the scene was not a pleasant one. I’m guessing the liquid must have exited the valve with the force of a cork from a well shaken bottle of Bollinger ! I have spent the morning in full PPE scrubbing the floor and disinfecting everything in sight.
Popped off my Hyper's standard cat+silencer & rear wheel today, ready for new tyre and Pipewerx can. Slightly concerned that it took very little effort on my breaker bar to undo the wheel nut - no way it was at 170Nm! Thankfully no sign of ill effects. Roll on end of the week arrival of the new can...
I’ve discovered ‘sweet heat’ Skittles in a local discount freezer shop, two packets for a pound, so I bought half a dozen packets. I dont have enough tools yet to fill my Tool box’s/cabinets, so I now have a dedicated Skittle drawer, just to pass another few minutes, I’ve separated them out into their respective flavours.
