  3. I watched some old WSBK from brands 2003 where shakey won, and I couldn't believe how hard those Ducati's used to rev, the F02's etc, absolutely insane. I remember reading that there would be no carbon build up on the piston because the valves ran so close to the piston, mad

  4. Thoroughly enjoyed that, many thanks, proper deep pockets required!

  5. 14k rpm..... 14... fffing thousand, jeez, no wonder they were getting through engines in the later years

  6. Knowing a few people that have had his engines grenade I wouldn't trust him to build me a Lego Ducati.

  7. And 180 bhp at the rear wheel :astonished::bucktooth:

  8. Got to be better than his camera work and his ability to do two things at once :joy:

    I enjoyed it though

  9. Not had time to see it all.

It's the jangling of the components that set me on edge.

  10. <my best dutch accent ON> they all shound like thats shir <my best dutch accent OFF>

  11. The bit that caught my attention was when he was explaining the reason for the hardened rollers on the selector forks.
He said it was to speed up the gear changes Hmmm???
I've always thought/know that it's about having the rollers roll along the tracks in the Hard Anodised selector drum, so as to not drag through them and wear out the slots in double quick time.
I run a genuine 996RS Hard Anodised selector drum with the forks running hardened rollers on them in my 955cc Corse spec 851/888.
I think his Dad knows more than him...
