Knowing a few people that have had his engines grenade I wouldn't trust him to build me a Lego Ducati.
The bit that caught my attention was when he was explaining the reason for the hardened rollers on the selector forks. He said it was to speed up the gear changes Hmmm??? I've always thought/know that it's about having the rollers roll along the tracks in the Hard Anodised selector drum, so as to not drag through them and wear out the slots in double quick time. I run a genuine 996RS Hard Anodised selector drum with the forks running hardened rollers on them in my 955cc Corse spec 851/888. I think his Dad knows more than him... Steve R
