V4 V4 Exhaust....tempted By These

Discussion in 'Panigale' started by Fishfire, Jun 4, 2020.

  1. So, I've spotted these exhausts on Ebay which to be fair look pretty cool and for the price I'm sorely tempting me to give them a go.

They provide a video on the dyno, but if I'm reading the power right its losing power? 185cs. I'm wondering if this is an unmapped dyno run.

It's from a company called Hauer Motorsport in Brazil

Anyone seen, or better still, tried these?

  2. Add import duty and vat and that is not cheap for a pair of end cans. Never heard of the either company. Andy

  3. Including import tax and delivery it comes to a smidge over £900.
£300 cheaper than Jester (which I dont like the looks of - sorry!)
And £800 cheaper than tbe next cheapest cans, being Arrows.

The company seem to have had good feedback on fleabay

  4. Prompted me to look at the current market. Hadn't realised exhausts had got so eye wateringly expensive. The only thing about the Arrow though is that it includes an up map so I have a suspicion you will need to add an ECU remap to the price of the Hauer. Andy

  5. Be careful of Customs and Excise at the moment.....theyre watching everything coming into the country (my mate works for them) i just got bent over for 300 quid on a 1k set of forks....

  6. The rubbish thing about customs is that you can't even challenge their decision. You get a slip in the mail and you either pay up and receive your item or it gets returned to sender. I've been charged way more than I think is reasonable on some items and I've had little choice but to pay up.

  7. If you’re looking at cheap, then stick with standard.

I was looking in April and the minimum with fitting was £2,000 - was Arrow.

Jester sound nice but are cheap and need an Upmap.

So I was sensible and bought a Termi 4Uscite system.....

Arrow is the best and cheapest exhaust on the market....

  8. "Sensible"... Lol

  9. I love the look of the new SC Projects. Very tempted to fit one of those on my R when it arrives but the EU$5,500 has forced me to think twice.

  10. You could get a set of Ohlins FGRT road and track forks for that and have money left for a new set of Supercorsa's. Unbelievable!

  11. I’m not sure why you would even consider putting cheap exhausts on a £20k plus bike

Either keep it standard or save up and buy Akras, Termi etc. I agree they are stupidly expensive though.

The price of Ducati exhausts is pathetic, a total rip off, a full titanium Akrapovic system on the new Superduke is £1998? Yet slip ons for the V4 are £1000 more, go figure ???

Probably Ducati tax for frivolous cash rich Doctors who do 52 miles a year on them . . .

  12. Got arrow headers on my zed.....one of the nice things about arrow: You can buy any individual parts for any of their pipes...all kept in stock...i bought the twin exit system for my zed - didnt like the twin exit and then ordered the single exit collector - took 4 days to turn up and was very well priced (170 quid to my door) unlike fucking akra stuff which becomes unobtainium after 6 months - and thats if you can find any fucker thats actually selling spares...!
