Someone was looking to spend that much in a 916 recently, cant remember who, a good few posts above. I’d rather have the 998.
I still think it’s good value, even if you have/want to restore it to original MK2 colour scheme. Admittedly the mileage will be off putting when you come to resell but it depends how it’s been looked after.
Bit quiet in here today so here’s something that needs a bit of tlc but a low starting price https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/184318965245
Being picky, I don't think those are the original front disks for that year and the rear spindle has been taken out and put back in upside down, just look how high the chain is off the swing arm (don't ask how I know). However, depending what it goes for, with no reserve, it could, as the ad says with a bit of tic, make a decent value bike.
Could be a cheap 900ss if a low reserve price inplace. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ducati-9...439437?hash=item3da498250d:g:b3cAAOSw9IJeQCo0
Agreed it could be a bargain (not read the advert as yet) but might need more machanical works, which could add upto £££££££££££?,also i'll check out the Superlight register as it could be listed.
A 748s with a 996 motor in it. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ducati-7...384148?hash=item23d8df8b14:g:8uYAAOSwJ65e28mN
