  2. Where’s a face palm when you need one. You know yellow ones are the fastest. Andy

  5. Looks very nice. No response from the seller when I enquired via Car and Classic a couple of weeks ago. Let’s see if I get a response via eBay. After a lean period there seem to be quite a few 916 coming up for sale.

  6. I enquired with him on car and classic and took me about two weeks to get out of him the service history which he now has put on description, and came back with a few odd answers (well to some of them). It is very tidy indeed and worth a punt and maybe some wiggle room on the price;).

  7. Good spot. But depends on which picture. See pic 10

  9. Pic 8 doesn’t have the hangers for the rear footrests. Maybe he just swaps the subframe rather than take them off. Odd but still looks a great bike

  10.

  11. The two pictures of the bike with pillion footrests are not contemporaneous with the other pictures. The first picture has an FTR sticker on the left hand fork leg and the aluminium subframe looks to be a mono posta. Not suggesting there is necessarily anything nefarious but needs explaining IMO. 13. I think he's got pictures from different times there. Picture 4 has no rear hugger, picture 6 has a rear hugger, then, as said by others there's the pics with an aftermarket mono subframe and without, Is that subframe included?

IMO I'd definitely be wanting CF Termis on the bike at that price and there aren't any. Also I just don't get the price asked for mid to late production year 916s  at that money I'd rather have a 996 or 998.

  14. That in itself is off-putting. He's selling a bike and can't be arsed to take his own photos?

  16. Not that far from me, if anyone is really interested and wants it looking at.
    If viewing is possible.
