Yes therapeutic and occasionally frustrating as the spokes have to go in the right positions to mate up with the holes in the rim and if you get one wrong without noticing then there is a certain amount of back tracking to get into sequence again. Worth doing though, It's cost me about £60 to get a rebuilt wheel with re plated original spokes and new bearings. It's for the legendary TZ350, at this rate I might have a rolling chassis in a couple of years.
I thought it might be for the TZ. You should really start a thread on that mate, plenty of stroker fans here.
It had crossed my mind, I'll have to have a root round behind the TV and see what parts I can find. In all seriousness though it might possibly provide the motivation to get on with it. Spa Classic here I come!
Yes that would be special. My old racing partners went out there last year with a TZ750, first time it had been used since 1992, had a great couple of days and it was suggested that I might go along next time
You could be right,as the eyes are getting blurry right now,i need the glasses on for the first time looking at this screen.
Think it's quite possible for 2022. Can't see it being next year as even if it's on I'm on half time and pay at the moment so the 3 to 4 grand needed to get the job done is not readily available right now but live in hope and all that.
