  2. While imbibing at our local I accidentally purchased a "Dream Machine" paint jobb'ed bike....
    CX500
In Metallic White, with pink metal flecks.... think... from a distance over 20' it looked pink.

  3. Yeah, I've heard a lot of bad things, but on the job they did for me, I was pleased with the job, just the service was shit. It took 2 weeks longer than quoted, and then it went back because they forgot to paint a wheel

  4. Forgetting to paint at all it quite bad :joy:

  5. I paid about £550 for a tank, mudguard and seat cowl (in red - of course) by a company in Bangor, North West Wales. They did an excellent job if you'd consider sending your stuff...

Mention you were recommended by Andy with the white van
Pretty sure Terry is ex Dream machine

  7. Rage Designs in Cheshire did the Anniversario paint job on my 959. I think they charged Ducati Manchester around the £1k mark including gold wheels

  8. Never tell any workman there's no rush, always get a time scale. Also never pay upfront, I used to get offered money upfront but I'd refuse on the grounds that I have the money but now no interest lol.

  9. Cannot see it being less that £1000 including tank and prep work...
I would estimate at least 14 hours of work to get a perfect finish.

Isn't possible to just buy OEM panels with decals already on?

  10. Yep, Rage design for me! Google him and check out his stuff! Top quality!

  11. I'm paying £500 for stone chip and re-laquer job on a 998 by someone that choses his jobs. Fairing, tank, tail, nose, front mudguard, airbox sides. Bodywork is already good, just part of a full resto.

  12. I have had several cars repaired by this guy and he also did some panels for me. Good quality, sensible prices, based in Horley.

  13. my 2 pents, tjc design in bristol. Tim is a fab dude and a proper artist. does a lot of airbrush stuff for racers in all classes (incl bsb, wsb) and he done my 748 a few years back. (hes currently doing some touch up work on it).
the original paint job came in at 1200 quid and i couldnt believe how he done it so cheap. loads of prep as it was a mess and loads of airbrushing of custom decals ect... couldnt recommend him highly enough.. the only downside is he is always busy.
