So what have you done today..?

  1. Went out for a ride, 25 degrees C in the end - far better than the rain that was promised all week!

A couple of different bikes in the group today, my mate Tom on his Wheelie Turbo nutter bike but he had to go early for a barbeque so not in the pic - you might see another odd ball bike there... :eyes:

  2. I used to use vaseline to get them off. I knew picking them off with tweezers often left the bite in but suffocating them with vass meant they removed themselves with nothing left in the dog, so were easier to pick off and with less damage

  7. I spoke to a vet about removal and he said the best thing to do is remove ASAP rather than the suffocating method as previously used by a lot of dog owners. Apparently when the tick dies slowly it releases toxins into the host animal which can make it quite poorly.

  10. Today I picked up PPE in N London for a multi drop all over Essex. Everyone very kind today, offering all sorts. Looking for my last drop near Tiptree, house names not numbers. I see people waving at me, pull up by them and blow me it’s members of the M/C club I tutor at. And then another person I know pulled up to visit their neighbours FFS. What a small world. To top it all my tank was topped up by these very kind people!! 57E1FE25-AF2B-4AE2-B040-9BAB7C726B8B.jpeg i should mention I live in London not North Essex so quite weird.

  11. Scared the shit out of myself on the way home from Riders Bristol after picking up my new 1199s. New tyres and a bike I haven’t ridden before made for an interesting ride.
    Certainly doesn't like going slow.

  12. Bit harsh DB I’m not a dog owner but Labs seem a nice friendly dog if not a little greedy.

  16. Blimey, are you allowed to post photos on this forum of someone having a wankel on the public highway, no wonder he is hiding his identity....

  18. It a rare and illegal sight for sure! We had stopped as we had lost him and the Bandit, though he'd broken down - but it was the bandit with a creased vacuum pipe from the fuel tap :joy:
It was my mate Roger on the RE5...
