  8. Hi Jamie Clare,
Can I ask how you are getting along with the cast adjusters?.
I have cast and box sets paid for with the extra bracket.
Will these be out for postage soon.
I am getting a bit jealous now!!!
    Lol, cheers

  11. Hi, how many more batches are there going to be? - just wondering as not sure which batch i am going to be in and getting jealous seeing everyone else receive shiny stuff:)

  12. Hi, got mine all good.

However, I can't seem to get it to sit flush against the swingarm as it pulls away from the swingarm at the final 3mm ish.

See previous pics - I have a gap here if flush? = did anyone else have the issue?

  13. No
Have you fitted the extra 2 pieces without spacers as mentioned earlier in the thread?

  14. no - took them off so not that. I guess what I was saying was not that clear.
Essentially if I slide the adjuster onto the swing arm - at this stage it is completely flush to the swingarm.
However, about 2-3mm away from the end (ie where it screws in) it actually stops - ie cant slide further leaving a small gap.
As I tighten the screw (same on both sides) the adjuster lifts away - ie it is no longer flush against the swingarm and there is a small gap. Sure once you put the wheel on - it will be flush but there will be strain on the metal. Ie - the spindle will not be 100% perpendicular to the adjuster

above gap is where it shows about 2mm - the above pic actually is showing no gap as I have already made the tweak from the below pic - However. As mentioned, if I tighten the wheel as it is- the adjuster will become flush but straining the metal.
and below - the gap is no longer there - circled is where it lifts away. and when I use the original nuts - its fine. but obviously no point of using the 2 extra metal brackets since it sits too far away now.

Just wanted to make sure if no one else is having the same issue or can it just be disregarded?

  15. Didn’t have that issue at all. My brackets fitted onto the arm just fine and slid forward to the front of the recess.
I only nipped the supplied bolts up initially so they weren’t under a big load but the adjuster body was fully seated. Then I adjusted the chain and tightened the spindle nut, then I finally tightened the supplied bolt at the front of the adjuster “body”.

  16. Ah, yes mine gapped there a little but you could push it back with your hand so no stress really - the additional parts with a spacer held it tight with no gap:

  17. @Allen Huang this is the last time I will call you out buddy. I have sent emails and direct messages about your adjusters. you still have a balance to pay or ill have to put your items into stock to sell on to others and you're at risk of losing the deposits fella. ill leave it until the end of the month.

I hope everyone else is getting on ok.

  18. If you are going to use the original bolts, don't use the nut like you have circled in the picture,...that only sets the adjuster further rearward of the bike. I would use the bolts Jamie has supplied though.

I think its a non-issue really...I just got mine yesterday and will install on weekend.

  19. I m using the original nut technically like a spacer so that it doesn't lift at the step if using the bolt Jamie supplied.
Let me know how you get on - interesting to see if its just me who may have a bigger step than others.
