It's amazingly difficult to get a meal out of seeds and plants that are sown in concrete. And it somehow doesn't look as good flanking your tarmac drive.
Change of plan; I was going to weed the garden, and got the grass cut, but then my eye turned towards the fuglystrada. Fired up first time as always, so I'll watch moto2 then introduce the fugly to my favourite back roads.
went for a blast on the 996, bought some new gloves from J&S plymouth , home removed the complete exhaust on my KTM 400 , de-rust and spray with heat resistant paint, what a balls ache to get off, remove rear sub frame and rear shock, but all sorted to refit another day, moto gp now and beer : )

Tbh physically ok from effort, but a couple of face plants while in 3rd mean I have the occasional ache and pain...although the copious wife-beater dulled the pain. Loved the fast gravel stuff and some of the mud plugging but disliked the in the trees stuff
I didn't get up till half 12 today, lazed indoors on the pc and painting the doors and loft hatch a lovely lime colour space
Well today I've had a good day in the main. Firstly I went to Ducati Manchester and had a coffee and a chat with Martin, the sales manager there. Drooled over the Panigale R. Gorgeous looking thing and if I ever get a good bonus this year I will have one in the garage next year Then I had a lovely run to Chester. Just mooched for half an hour when I got there. I'd forgotten how nice Chester is. I then had a spirited ride home, stopping for a coffee at Mottram. Got home, cleaned Eva and put her away in the garage. Then SWMBO made me something to eat in readiness to watch the MotoGp. The only downside to the day was that Sky+ didn't do its job, either on bbc2 or on Eurosport so I'll have to watch the highlights tonight. But all things considered its been a good day
sold on a peugot moshed to clear space anad gained some beer tokens oh and the wife is well pleased one less ahh well down to 5 again lol
Took no1 son to a 7s tournament. Their first 7s tournament, so reaching the quarter final of the main cup competition wasn't a bad start. they learned how hard 7 minutes can be, and came out of it wanting to know when the next tournament is - very proud dad
70 mile ride this morning on some superb roads; pub lunch with some friends; watched a recording of the MotoGP then a couple of hours cleaning the bike. Not a bad day really.
More jobs in the garden today, cut down a small tree, cleaned the chickens out, weed killed the driveway and generally tidied. Brownie points earned today
