It's a great to pick your bike home and put it in the garage cos you've got to finish the skirting boards
Looks like I picked a bad week to quit glue sniffing, get the drive way done, get the house painted and get the garden landscaped, the corse is currently in the garage about a metre away from the builders cement mixer :frown:
Ok how does the quick shifter work ,is it throttle wide open and clutch less gear change or is it throttle wide open and use clutch as normal,I just got a bagful of false neutrals and jerky gear changes,it's probably down to me getting used to it as well
All you do is keep the revs stable and snick up the QS (from 2nd up). Piece of piss. You'll need to use the clutch to change down though.
I've had mine a few week I'm getting false neutrals aswell but it's definitely down to getting used to it. You need to be on the throttle for it to work best and just give the lever a firm boot. I've found the quickshifter works fine but every now and then I forget its there and try to do a clutchless up shift by rolling off and it just ends up a mess but you will get used to it. Hope you enjoy your new bike
Oh yes great looking bike. I really do like them one of my favourites. Sure your going to have a lot of fun on that
As I said before its my fault when I use the QSer properly it's fine, the worst thing is I can never find the real neutral when I want it lol
