  2. Mangoes were cheap on the market so made Jamie Oliver’s mango chutney, super easy and tastes excellent

  3. Have you ever made lime pickle Char? If so, did it turn out OK and which recipe did you use please? I can't seem to find a decent one.

  4. Ooh no yuk lol

I’ve made a sweet coconut one - not really a preserve though so a bit of a faff https://www.indianhealthyrecipes.com/coriander-coconut-chutney/

  5. Aah, Thanks, I'll try that as well but I really like the hot fiery lime pickle you get in restaurants - the proper stuff not the mass produced nuclear green stuff.

  6. Several on the internet but this one has the wedges of lime, https://www.simonmajumdar.com/fiery-hot-lime-pickle. Others I found say to blend the limes into a paste. Andy

  8. SWMBO - makes Curries (she was a qualified chef working with the Ruen brothers) - she always velvets the meat with Bicarb and grates the Onions so she can squeeze out the water - we have over 30 spices plus I grow Chillies and Herbs.
