What is the tank size ? What m p g should i expect ? Today i ran out of fuel , the warning light came on and after about 10 miles , kaput , the tank was pretty much bone dry , on refilling to the brim it only took 15 litres . Having said that i had only done 98 miles from filling it to the brim. I havnt had the bike long , is this the noem ?
Standard tank size is 15.5 litres for 999/999S. I've had reserve last over twenty miles and once, memorably, only 17 miles. I often get 120 miles before reserve but have seen that as low as 78 miles (on a track day).
