765rs Finally Picked Up/build Thread

  1. Yeah, you can ride it fairly hard tbh, the engine I think would be frustrating on track, it's very torquey but not really the sort of engine you want to sit at the red line with, and the weight is obviously an issue at 205KG Dry. Honestly though with as much torque as it has I think it will shift along okay on track. I'd do a trackday on it but only for a laugh, rather than trying to set times

  2. I don’t know. The rave reviews are perpetually excellent. Must be a great bike. Looks funky too. Looks wheelie naughty... :imp:

  3. If looking for serious upgrades, have a look on Palmer Performance facebook page, I believe they teamed up with Track Electronics to build moto2 replica 765's.
"John at Track Electronics on the ball as per....This is an awesome setup for someone wanting to build a Moto2 replica....there's also some good bodywork kits out now to suit the 765..... interested in building one? Give me a shout"

  5. Yeah man I’ll have a gander, Ive scoped out my whole build already but as I mentioned this month has been a maelstrom financially and I’m just hanging on a sec. Moto 2 fairings with clip ons is definitely the style ill end up with.
Brakes will do for now, I’m thinking K-tech front and rear but the guys in the 765rs cup are far better than me and going hella quick on stock.

  9. I've dropped him a message.
Getting back to me with prices Monday. I'm just going to find somewhere that'll get it built and drop the bike of there.

  10. This is the only bit I can see. Can't see the fairing phots? Still got onto him though. Replied quick.

  14. It’s made me check eBay for 765 rs’s....

imho the fairing is Daytona tho. Looks l=nice but not like a M3 bike. They are less angular, rounder, larger, and better. But £e££££££££££££

  15. I paid £8k for mine last October from Triumph Cheltenham. 120 miles on clock. One year old. One private owner. Deals to be had.

  16. Cracking deal that.
I've just chatted to matey again then. Fairings prob 650 inc bracket. Gonna have them put on, rear sets, clip ons and the brake lines sorted.
Gonna get full price Monday, will keep all updated.
Today pissed me off so much lol but can't wait to get this fucker on his ear round Anglesey next month.

  18. Lovely bike. I had the previous generation (see below) before my current Streetfighter V4. I loved it very much, so light and nimble but was ultimately annoyed about the lack of torque in lower revs, which made it hard to enjoy in most driving conditions. I've heard this new one fixes this issue. Enjoy!

  19. Congrats. Really good bikes and a lot of fun to ride. I have the first Gen RS, which incidentally has a recall on it, something to do with front brake pads. Must get mine re-booked in. Enjoy the bike, the induction noise is a tad addictive. :upyeah:
