  4. Excellent I never got.

  5. I doubt every rider feels confident enough to keep the bike in tip top form without the assistance in some form of garage/mechancic assistance.

  6. Isn't that what they are for?

  7. Maybe it's because it's 2am but I'm very confused here.

  10. Rely? If that’s what you mean, I mostly do. Didn’t used to back in the day but don’t have the time & do have the money (for the most part) nowadays. When I have the time (like the 1098’s occasional need to replace a rectifier) I’ve done it with help from this forum

  11. I do, it keeps my bike dry and secure when I’m not using it and it lowers the insurance premium too. Mine also has tools and the like in it, although not much crap as I had a clear out recently oh and it houses excess beer that doesn’t fit in the fridge.
Importantly there is also nothing in there for the mrs, so she has no reason to go there! :joy:

Stoddarts workshop, the main place for that kinda work in argyll (and owned by the parents of Suzi Stoddart) was closed and found ourselves doing our first quad for a farmer person. 2x wheel bearings. 4x ball joints and a service. he suplied the parts bar the oil. it cost him 300ish, handing over the bill he gave me the, is that all? look. i think we may be doing more.

  17. i've no idea. £42 PH x the time it takes minus the time spent scratching our heads wondering how it should be done.
