  5. Heard a whisper that a local artisan butcher a couple of miles up the road from us was butchering a couple of locally reared English lambs first thing this morning. Managed to fight the crowds to get 7 Barnsley double chops about an inch thick each, some to BBQ tonight and the rest to freeze, two lovely whole racks of lamb, also for the BBQ but will freeze for later in the season, a 2.5kg whole leg of lamb for Sunday, 8 lambs kidneys to go with some steak for a pie filling and four 8oz sirloin steaks that were on offer for half price. Thought I’d need to take out a mortgage but that lot only cost £82. Well pleased. Andy

  6. Finally managed to get the little snooker table over from Lancashire, little table but Jesus heavy slate bed I do not envy snooker table movers no way...recloth when I can afford it and new pockets, rails etc it plays nice will keep me out the pub asthe pub sounds like a miserable hobby for the foreseeable future I don’t fancy sitting in a Perspex box supping not looking at anyone nope I’ll stay in with a Guinness

Massive credit to the Mrs for doing most of the painting including my bike ...and a smashing fella who came with me to collect the table, his initials are under the cushions from manufacture at smith and nelsons in Leeds 40 years ago yes he worked on the table from new

  8. Changed the pads discs and one caliper on our motor home after the garage quoted me three hours labour for the job so I’m £150 up !
Don’t really like working on cars or vans but it’s satisfying when you save a few quid.

  9. Continued my learning curve about video editing and loaded 2 vids up to YouTube :) but clearly got to learn a whole lot more as they look ok on a computer but crap on a mobile :(.

Then I stripped the plastics off the Monster, removed the (full of fuel:() tank so I could get to the broken crankcase breather valve, the top had separated from the bottom, reattached the 2 halves with some tri-bond and will reassemble it all tomorrow once it’s set. Hopefully that’ll work and I don’t need to buy another:):upyeah:.

  10. :thinkingface:Have you finally uploaded the sprocket drama onto YouTube?:D
