The finance deal should attract a load of buyers, particularly with the free panniers. It did the trick on me. As for the suspension, I've been riding for over 30 years and have never adjusted the bouncy bits. I just get on and ride. I've ridden the S models and the new Skyhook and the DES is a really attractive tool but when you pay a near £3K premium without the low finance figures, it was a no-brainer for me. If I had the extra £'s, however...
Guess i'll have to test ride a new 1200 now; bugger. there goes my other kidney!! when it stops raining/snowing/blowing 50 mph winds
Deposit placed, hopefully get it sorted for next week. I'll update on my first Ducati ownership experience in due course. Thanks for the comments to help nudge me from my dithering!!
Great write up ojobear, got my Multi 1200 ABS delivered last Friday by Ducati Leeds, i have only put 72 miles on the clock, but the 2013 Multi is light years in front of my 2011 1200s. The engine is a work of art, amazing a total revelation wow, std set up on suspension feels better than the s ever did. Ducati have taken the time and effort to look at the customers gripes of what was a new ground breaking bike and responded with this 2013 dream bike just love it!!!!!!!
Big music fan so I'm over there myself quite often. Recommend the Picturedrome to everyone. As a music venue it can't be beaten.
Totally agree. Massive improvement on an already tremendous bike. Nearly got into trouble a couple of times now already. Sport mode is now very aggressive. The response to just the slightest twist is totally different. Also, not an ounce of play on the throttle and when going for the brake I've wound it on again. Have to get used to that pretty quick methinks.
I completely agree. Seen dozens of bands there. I go quite regularly. Last band I saw there was the Wonderstuff
World Party and Wilko Johnson were my last gigs there. Looking forward to Saxon and Limehouse Lizzy. Also, Xmas specials are great. The South and T. rex tribute are cracking.
