you know, I thought the same, but everyone swears by it so don't understand. Maybe only for minute pin pricks..
Not bovvered about the weight. I take enough food and water to piss off a mule. Also noticed it glues the dust caps on.
no luck so far, there were at least 5 bridges not covered by GoogleMaps on Steve's approx area, right up to the source.
Built this the other day.....love it, just need to fit the new SDG saddle when it arrives and take maybe 10-15mm off each end of the bars
We are expecting you to actually ride out to find the bridge bud, Google is not your friend on this mission you've accepted. Nelson took the photo, your turn now but from a different angle and the newspaper of the day in the picture too as proof.
If it wasn’t so far I would be up for that. I could load up in a car and do that stretch but for me it would be like cheating at the moment. that would be 160 miles all in for me, and that's a direct route. I came late to "proper" cycling, I am still a 100 mile virgin, something I hope to change before daisy duty.
Who’d chuck away that bike...looks fairly decent! I didn’t go out today...too bloody windy. Went for a blustery walk along Shoreham beach with MrsX.
I’ve done a few 100’s, paced correctly they’re straight forward. Pace them too quick and suffer, ask me how I know this.....
Was about to set off for 10 mile but just did a 180 degree literally 5 mins ago as started raining here. EDIT All blown over so off I go. Got away with it all but last 2 miles, broke my first spoke with suspension seat unit but wheel not touching frame luckily.
the 66 and 67 I did felt effortless so timed it just right, i've had 30 mile runs that were less comfortable. The trick for me is not planning to do a long run but just "seeing how it goes" then it dawns on you that you've must have cracked it.
