Cat C isn't cosmetic damage but it could be a fab bike for little money - what's your guess £1265 is mine
Vehicles written off after an accident, a flood, or fire damage are often classified as Cat C. In its simplest form, it means that although the motorcycle is repairable, the cost of the parts, labour and potentially an expensive hire car would significantly exceed the value of the vehicle. Between 1200-1300 is a good price and like you say could make a cracking bike!!
OMG a 3 owner 748E biposto for £8k. Even if it is in THE CORRECT colour for a 748 that’s a bit steep IMO https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/153984757841
