Fork foot Öhlins recall

  1. And if it does need doing, servicing the other leg at the same time (new oil and seals) is a good idea so both are as 'matched' as they can be.

  2. I've not checked the details, but is this potentially all ohlins bikes, or just those from a certain period (e.g. 2010) ?
I'm wondering if my essentially new 2012 bike should be checked...

  3. Cheers Andy.
Btw, both links are to this same thread, which I had read again now ;)

  4. Specific posts in the thread ;-)

  5. Had mine done this week, 2010 s sport

  6. Here .....and maybe other useful info here

  7. Many thanks for this, very informative document.

  8. The new MTS1200 site is https://motorcycleinfo.co.uk/ducati-multistrada-1200-information-resource-index3f11/
However I cannot find a direct link to that page, but 99% sure it only contained what you'll find above.

  9. Cheers, just trying to find out how to strip the forks down completely to replace the 2 o-rings under the blue hex cap. You mentioned that was an 18 page instruction available from somewhere?

  10. I'd use a specialist.
    FTR Suspension did mine.
There are so many special tools to hold and undo things on an Ohlins.

  11. Have the spare o-rings on order and will take it to the ohlins workshop near me (200 miles round trip), still wanted to have a look though. Can't be too hard to do can it? . Famous last words

  12. Use a courier.
FTR are only about 80 miles from me or 3 hours away.
My time was worth more $40US return.
