I don’t know much about it. Omega Imperial with a rare dial apparently. It’s inscribed on the case - seems to have been a long service gift. Initially I thought the lettering on the face was a bit much but I’ve gotten used to it now and it does add some interest to the otherwise quite spartan design.
It’s not a big watch - the casing is only about 35mm across. So not chunky like your typical sporty Omega.
I inherited this automatic Geneve from my uncle a few years ago - he bought it new in 1963/4. Box is a bit tatty, but the watch keeps great time
Nice! The markers are very similar but your case is curvier and more 1950s Style I guess. Mine must be just a bit later than that then...?
My watches. Not cheap but only the Tag Aquaracer is what I would call expensive. Thinking about treating myself to something special, I heave a few thousand left over from an inheritance a few years back and not spending much on holidays this year. What should I buy. My choices are predicable I guess, Rolex, Omega or another Tag. That’s in price order I suppose as well. New or used from a reputable dealer?? What would you choose.?
Patek Philippe, apparently you never actually own one, merely look after it for the next generation That’s how good they are.
