It’s been a karmic day so far: Started with an early phone call from my trusted mechanic asking if I was sitting down-even at trade, a new ECM is going to cost me over a grand. Refurbished option it is then, but still £480 plus Then daughter bounces into the room asking if I’m sitting down-She is now Victoria Moore LLB with a high 2:1 in Law This more than balances out the car costs particularly as a 1st would’ve meant I had to buy her a dog
Removed this wasp nest (size of a medicine ball) from the loft. Isn’t nature amazing (little bastards).
I suffer from tinnitus in my left ear and funnily enough this morning I have ordered a "miracle cure" from a renowned specialist hearing aid development company, that allegedly diffuses the tinnitus sound and improves hearing apparently. I'll let you know if it works when I get them or whether I have just bought snake oil.
Been in the garage re-fitting the refurbished rear brake caliper to the Diavel and fitting replacement gear and brake levers to my Multistrada. Then in a moment of madness, decided to turn out my kitchen “man drawer”. Dead pens, charging leads and chargers for phones I’ve no longer got, light bulbs for light fittings that got replaced years ago and a set of audiovisual cables that pre date the Scart ! Andy
Today I have mostly been listening to BA's hold music (could be worse), trying to get a refund on flights to Sumburgh. I have also very recently (like today) developed tinnitus. Wonder if there's a direct correlation? Thanks BA!
Crikey - you could put that on your head tonight and and it would look like Charlie Stayt has come for dinner. Mr Bimble.
Having investigated this a bit more I have been told that (and I quote) "the block feature is very buggy". It's being looked at and will be upgraded as soon as possible
What are man drawers for if not to save thing just in case!!! for goodness sake don't throw anything away, you never know when it will come in.
I finally installed the replacement air filter today,i went for the easy and cheap route with a pipercross for the moment. Also just spotted a F40 heading southbound with just 42,000km's on the speedometer, only think i've ever seen three/four in my lifetime, last week it was a GT40 in white livery & dark blue stripes,i guess if you've muscles.....it that time of year for flexing them.
I’m just at hotel the blue mansion but usually can’t hear yourself think for planes but it’s quiet now...was a few planes taking off or landing but nothing like usual but it was very windy earlier too
Don't you just hate it when people start to talk all intellectual about guys like Mozart and Beethoven. Hell, I bet they ain't seen more than one of their paintings.
