You wouldn't be buying that as an investment, hence it lower value IMO No, I'd buy non standard bike not an issue to me so long as the mods are in keeping with the style of bike. I'd buy it at close to that price funds and space permitting, but then I would buy it to ride it and look at it, I wouldn't be buying it as an investment in the hope of making money some time in the future.
I've not been following the Ducati investment stocks lately, I just go off how much I'd part with for a given motorcycle circumstances permitting. When/if the time comes for that my list is long....... But that is a very well executed conversion, I'd still change the paintwork though.
It's a nice conversion, the engine work alone should sell it too you. If you think it's stunning put a cheeky offer on it, worried about the Mrs sell the GS buy the S2 and give the balance to her to spend on tat . Win Win

Well in my recent experience with a SP4 for sale on ebay,the owner wanted X amount on the telephone...but let it go for much less in the end.
I must admit i made him a cash offer and he obviously didn't take it, he said he was looking at 13-14k so i reckon a 14k reserve, could be wrong!!

Well i offered the SP4 owner £900 more than he received in the end,people go and figure that one out.
Wash your mouth out!! Had a mate who had that engine conversion done by JHP. It blew up after 300 miles....but when sorted it was mega grunty!
