here’s a true story. My first pair of cowboy boots, summer of 1986. I bought them and straight to a rawk disco. Standing at the top of the stairs to the dance floor...beer in hand. I thought I looked like a god with my Bon Jovi hair and cape (hey, it was the 80s). Cowboy boots have leather soles. leather soles need scuffing in before they have grip. I went A over T down the whole stairs with the whole club watching me. I did get an applause when I bounced off the bottom step. yeah...nah...I didn’t pull that night.

im taking the piss but if i could find a pic of me in 86 id be unlikely to share it! i once turned up to a party and got asked buy about 20 people if i was in fancy dress.... it thought i was rock n roll....
i hated the 80's and still do... obviously im waaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy younger than you so probably have a slightly different outlook on it.. bet you were all bmw's and phones the size of a semi.....
No i was into the ska scene madness, specials etc then The Cult, only decent music in the 80s and then guns and roses towards the end, no Beemers for me or mobile breeze blocks!!, i had my trusty Z550.
