The weather’s been a bit meh since the lockdown finished, Sod’s law, but today wasn’t too bad so I was wizzing around parts of the swi500 filming this morning and stopped in Glandore for a coffee.
Today I realised: In my teens Radio 1 played my music In my thirties, Radio 2 played my music In my dotage, supermarkets play my music
Various jobs to to today.....starting with the shittiest first....and then getting to the best... 1. Cut hedge in the garden. 2. Mother in law lives over the road and is having the roof redone.....while all the scaffolding is up..a. put a new aerial up. b. reallign satellite dish. c run new cabling into the loft. 3. Strip the front of the zed off and tidy up the wiring (shorten the heated grip cabling, re-route the tracker cabling) 4. Give the RSV4 a once over before me and my mate head out tomorrow morning early doors down to loomies for brekky (from Bristol) - first time out purely for a bike ride since last september...
Went a picked up my new toy - need to find a couple of mirrors but sounds good and nothing fell of it in the first 10 mins - little lady added a colour coded bin for @Ducbird
You've been short changed as no mirrors.,funnily enough i rode out today with my second ride with no mirrors and what a pain in the arse it was...........but hey you what a fantastic machine & have a great summer.
Cheers, I know, mirrors will probably be on my list. Funnily enough I went straight out and put some petrol in, straight away noticed the lack of mirrors, (never ridden without b4). Don't like turning right round as I seem to make the bike veer the same way. Hopefully can meet up with @bettes sometime to pick his brains. Feels very sensitive to inputs, pulls well, but then the fuel spilt out from the cap and soaked my jewels, so had to cut short and rush home as it was starting to sting. Will have to investigate.
Well i'm younger than you and had major trouble turning around today on the 916,so get some fitted PDQ,also maybe @Ducbird could help you out with that little problem. ....also it sounds like he played with the steering head adjustment / ride height etc for sensitive inputs.?
It has an aftermarket keyless cap. I put it in and turned the flap on top....no matter which way you do it it seems to still be a bit loose ?!?!? Off into the garage to investigate further. Ps, there's just a top corner of a grey bin visible above the tank. Just for you @Ducbird .
I've been out since 8am on the scrambler with the DOCGB around the Peak district and Cheshire. Rode quite a few new roads which was nice. Bike is all clean and back in the garage. Tomorrow is V2 day
