LOL they must have been reading the Varese thread on here and thought ‘if we make ours even earlier in manufacture it’ll be worth even more’, must be the only way to justify that price
And, according to their own blurb about themselves, they’re ‘specialists’ in classic bikes, doesn’t bode well for how they might prep the bike pre-sale
The more I look at it, nah, I don’t think so. The first 748R’s had Showa suspension but by June 2001 when this bike was first registered, pretty sure the 2001, 748R got an Ohlins rear shock. Can’t put my finger on one stand out thing that puts me on edge but it doesn’t feel right. Andy

No Way that's an R. if it was why see at 5K when you could get 8-10k all day long? I've asked the questions as to the engine number, all R's have a B in them. It's a scam IMO
