Anyone have a bike that’s maybe seen better days that I could track? my R1M gearbox failed on Sunday at silverstone so I’m looking to come back to Ducati where I had less issues than with this yamaha. looking for 1098 or a panigale, as long as it runs and the wheels are in line I’d be interested. Happy to consider previous write offs as well as that doesn’t bother me either. Cheers guys.
Sorry to hear that I would personally only buy a bike with a cassette box now for track use. Had your R1M had the gearbox recall done?
No recalls on mine unfortunately. Had a selector fail in November in portimao and it appears it may have an underlying issue with the box itself. Had a few issues with the electronics on it recently and it’s just getting the the point where I want to throw it in a skip
Depends what’s on offer to be fair. Quite flexible on price if I’m getting value for money would love a V4 but equally happy to get a 1098 to have some fun on..... and anything in between

I imagine you are wanting something in time to finish what is left of the season, as opposed to something for next year? I may shift my '16 R on before the winter depending on my work situation.
