  1. Is this the 12660 or the 11, either way it’s the only Rolex I’d consider owning, in fact my name is still on the waiting list for the deep sea blue James Cameron 2 years & counting......

  2. M126600-0001 not to sure what that denotes in terms model cycle. All I know is that Mid Mar I put the request in, and it was in the UK 1st week April.

I have to say though, my experience with Rolex Dealers in general is that unless you are willing to part with your cash straight way then there is always a wait. eg when I enquired that I wanted the Deep sea and submariner date the response was "hahaha everyone wants them" "there is a huge wait" "when would you be looking to take the watch?" when I said right now and was willing to part with the cash ...... Guess what, within 1.5 weeks and in early into lockdown as well ! they were in the UK. I then asked availability on a Daytona.... "hahahahahaha" "hold on what one do you want" Rose gold rubber strap..... "yes that can be done Sir" Watch dealers are worse than car dealers and dare I even say it even worse than Estate agents !!!

  4. My mate “Jimmy Watches” sent me another, to compare with the 1960s Omega. It’s a 50s Longines in stainless steel. Simpler design but quite classy looking...?

Can’t decide now... Maybe the Omega is more interesting. Any thoughts?

  6. Yep, the Omega. It reminds me of those whacky Franck Muller designs. And I like those ;):upyeah:

  7. Thanks fellas.

I think I’m agreeing with you. The Longines is in better condition but the Omega is more interesting, a bit larger and looks a better fit on the wrist. SOLD!

  9. Don't like the snakeskin strap, but with a plain black leather, I think the Longines would look classier, but as is I'd go for the Omega.

  13. Open question, what is the RRP for a Submariner with date? assuming it were possible to eventually get one through an AD.
    TIA

  14. I had to look closely before posting as the price wasn’t immediately obvious. The Omega web site has a price reveal button. WTF is that all about ? Andy
