1150 miles (may increase with some use), new July 2019, one owner (me), fdsh (just first service needed). Condition as expected for such a low mile newer bike. Standard bike with a few extras. - lowered option. Makes more manageable if you don’t have a 31 inch inside leg (mines 28 and I manage fine) . No loss of ground clearance - full semi-auto suspension model, includes extra modes with the additional chip for Pro-modes - single seat conversion, gives a little extra space on the bike. I have spare ear plugs, helmet cleaning kit etc under There as well as the recording device for the front/rear cameras fitted - full protection bars - pannier racks - has the bmw nav fitting there Really is one of the most competent bikes I’ve had. Does everything very well. Having checked ebay, prices range from 15-17k depending on mileage and model. So I’m looking for 15k or there about. So what am I replacing with? Think I’m going 1200s multi (gen 1 or 2) and an s1000rr or gixer 1000. Happy to discuss px on something suitable. Based near Gloucester. Private reg at the mo which will be changed back. Top box and rack not included.
webuyanythingcheap offered me 13k today, so good to know what bottom end px should be. Shortlist for replacements so far: sports bike - GSXR1000 (not an R as can't go that far), S1000rr (may stretch to a gen 3), R1 2012 onwards (not new style) utility/tourer/nip to shops - multi gen 1, tracer 900, MT09SP, MT10 theres a tad over 15k of bikes if I get the right deal there
Not a bike I know but my neighbour, Slow Dave, has just sold his Range Rover Evoque (2.5 years old with 15k miles) this week to WeBuyAnyCar.com as they gave him the best deal. Several dealerships offered him anywhere between £22.5k to £24k to p/x. WeBuyAnyCar.com offered him £24,750 and only knocked a £100 off the car when he took it in.
Looks really nice that. Always thought that'd be the bike I'd get or a Multi if I ever went back on road. What isn't clicking with it for you mate?
So good it’s not exciting. Suspect that’s what my biking is missing: some shit yourself sideways terror excitement. But is will keep up with sports bikes on the road, commute, go shopping, go touring as far as you want, all in comfort and with stuff like cruise and heated grips to help. Not forgetting suspension that takes care of things depending how you want to ride. It’s too good Not sure how serious I am as I have t stuck it on the bay of evil or anywhere else yet.
I get you, sounds very similar to R 35 GTR owner reviews. Mega vehicle but so perfect at what it does doesn't really raise your pulse at any point.
Take the lardy brute and give it some beans off-road ... that’ll make you shit your pants @bradders LOL!
Righto, choice made, going on eBay tomorrow. Putting up for 14995 but happy to take £14500. Still has 2 yrs warranty & breakdown cover. Would consider minster 1200 s or gen 3 s1000rr in px, with cash my way.
