What Tools Do You Carry?

  1. We’ve been discussing on another unrelated thread What tools/spares do we carry Under the seat, a few useful suggestions have come up, what do you carry in case of breakdowns etc?

  3. tyre plugs and gas canisters thingys, cable ties.
     
  4. Believe it's normal to carry a mobile phone and your Amex Centurion card.

  11. Nothing - R1 doesn't need anything, if the YR5 breaks down it will go bang, just put a 1098R on the road yesterday and re joined the RAC last week for that and the YR5 :):upyeah:
     
  12. My mobile phone to ring the breakdown service, unless I go out on my custom bobber. In that case I have nuts & bolts, locking wire, spanners, Allen keys, adjustable spanner, fuses, inner cable repair kit, puncture repair kit, u-lock & 1.5Ltrs. fuel. Just in case !!:joy:

    pieces of electrical wire
    bits of coat hanger wire ..... ( hard to find these days ...:) )

  14. I’ve got cable ties, adjustable spanner, Allen keys (actually used one recently, gear linkage pivot came loose on the M900), spare fuses, electricians tape, leatherman & standard Ducati tool kit,

    Also got one of these folding rucksacks, useful if you’re out and spot that bargain item that’s too big to go under your jacket, amazingly it does fold back into its palm sized bag after use!

  18. mini fire extinguisher, zip ties, multi tool
     
  19. Allen keys, screwdriver, spanners, plug kit and mobile phone on my 900ss ie and the Ducati tool kit on the 996 with plug kit in rucksack because there is no room under the seat!!:upyeah:(And mobile).
