888 Fairing Bracket.

  1. Looking for front sub frame/fairing bracket for Ducati 888 replica project. Race item would do !

  2. I've got a lightened steel one taken from a '91 851 and a '92 onwards alloy one made by B+B fabrications that would need some pulling around to make it fit, but I have seen one fitted before.
The genuine race 851/888/926's used the "X" shaped carbon air runners to mount the nose cone of the fairings, this's what I have on my 851/955 bike and it's not for sale.

Edit...I've a large collection of uprated items both genuine Corse and good quality other parts for the 851/888 range, what else do you need and how far do you want to go with your project?

  3. Basically Red Fox had commissioned some rears from 1on1. He was using their pics as an example of the work, saying that
he was going to 1on1 for some fronts if 10 people got in on it.

  4. As I posted earlier (unless it's for a very early 851?) all of the later Corse bikes used a carbon "X" shaped runner as the front sub-frame. Certainly by the time of the World Championship winning 851/888's they all had Carbon air runners that doubled as the front sub-frames but...
There were also a few different Carbon air runners over the next few years, as the factory extended rearwards the "X" shaped runners/faired in the area around the headstock and altered the air boxes in the pursuit of more power.
