  1. They're all there to raise revenue. Unfortunately there is an endless stream of people proving the efficacy of the business case. :bucktooth:

If we all drove at the posted limits for 5 years the cost would cripple the system as the cameras wouldn't be cost effective... but yes, you get your radar detector. :innocent:

  6. We have decorated the house throughout and at one time had the under the stairs exposed a timber post in under there had rotted on top of ash screed flooring which was about 2 inches lower than the concrete floor a mate helped me and we cut and spliced in a new timber 4"x 4" on top of a DPC sheet and concreted under the stairs level . All the drainage is external that i know of and no plumbing under there, the only time this highlights itself is when its raining which indicates its water ground pressure we are about a 100 metres from a very strong river and on 2 occasions now my garage pit has leached water in from the walls not flooded by any means but about a couple of inches. We live in an ex mining area within a valley the lower end of our road has flooded regularly with massive culverted water problems which still has not been rectified poor buggers the river has a good flood defense system. It did flood the area some 50 years ago. As you said DPC injection may be the way forward in the lower bricks just accessible enough otherwise it will be quite a major strip down as the brick work is not that stable plus also trim the door frame off by an inch or so.

  7. Spent most of the day yesterday building a home for all the recycling outside the front door made completely out of old pallets and wood knocking around the garden/garage/house. Its still standing after a stiff breeze last night...

  15. I also could not resist the rare Dainese Ducati 916 WSB Foggy Suit - as new, stand and floor mat.
Sadly it is Foggy sized, so I must start my diet now or I'll never fit in it...:( :astonished: :D
