Quite frankly i was clearly bored / restless last night as i flicked from the Putin's interviews / Chris Froome's let nuke the field in the 2015 tour,had some get & go about it / Borg & McEnroe very slow but a borg fan.
Saw a fella write off a brand new Porsche there once on a track day. Coming out of Club onto the start finish straight he got it wrong, went wide, and put his left hand wheels onto the grass, spun and went backwards down the concrete wall opposite the pits, in front of everyone . We had been warned about that turn at the briefing. Bugger me, someone else did the same thing about 15 mins later . POC track day a good few years back. Admittedly it had been raining earlier in the day and the track was a tad greasy but feck me was I careful going round that bend. You want to give it your all as you pass the pits but watch out.
I’ve just finished watching season 1 of “The Boys” on Amazon Prime. Really good and a different take on superhero’s (a bit like when Superman went all bad in Superman 3) The only thing you have to get used to is Karl Urban’s awful English accent! What is it with Americans trying to do an English accent always sounds like a bad Australian accent? It was only half way through the series it was dropped in that he was supposed to be English that I realised. To get into character he clearly watched Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and thought if I drop in a c**t and B*****ks every other sentence I’ll have this off to a tea But getting over that I thought it’s a great series and looking forward to season 2 in Sept.

So he is, well his American accent is more convincing than his English one, or his own for that matter
The Old Guard - enjoyed it, glad they let it go straight to screen as would have been at cinemas first can’t work out why they didn’t release the new Bond film , lots of folks would have ‘paid to view’ and they could have made it into quite an ‘at home’ event with a bunch of Bond related stuff oh well
