Sad News On My Brand New Bike

  1. So this morning while at work I noticed that somehow my brand new Monster 797 has a very bad scratch on it. Not sure how I did it but obviously I was careless.

what do you guys think I should do? It’s a flat paint so I can have it repainted but it’s small enough where a wrap? Ducati stickers on both sides? Any other ideas? I believe I accidentally keyed my beautiful new bike...

  6. The most annoying thing about brand new is that every little blemish is times 100 on the shit scale, hope you sort it!!:upyeah:

  9. Some sort of carbon fibre tank protector?

  10. If the paint is matt (can’t really tell from your photo) then a repair will be neigh on impossible at home (from what I understand even the paint shop might struggle).
If it’s normal paint then chips away or similar.
    Good luck :upyeah:

  12. I have it on my Striple. Looks bloody fantastic but I have never worried about paint so much in my life o_O

  13. A bit late now for the guy who posted but I’ve had Matt paint protection film on a bike and it was a god send. Found the best thing to clean it was clear glass cleaner and a micro wipe.
