Yeah- but way better than that....have to do a bit of research but initially...one single line will be the way forward...
Notwithstanding the above..... The 'single' version of this might look ok at the MC https://www.demon-tweeks.com/uk/goodridge-banjo-bolt-brake-light-switch-243429/
Why the doubler - its only a single caliper...i was thinking a single version one of those connected up at the lever...
I knew it was coming....only ordered a ti one as when searching on ebay as soon as i put stainless in just regular m10 bolts came up...and, i prefer ordering ti anyway as it stay brighter and is easier to clean...its as heavy as an anville so a tiny bit of ti isnt going to make any difference whatsoever...but, areas than can be seen i may go for ti as its nice and bright...
Yeah - its carrying a fair bit of timber although the new rims are way lighter than the oem ones...they were like lead...
This is my 750, obviously a lot lighter than it was when stock, but still bloody heavy by modern standards, when I was stripping it to do the build I couldn’t believe how heavy the components were, the rear mudguard was unbelievable, virtually needed a winch to lift it!
Couple of hours in the garage today....had a spare brake like from the hyper which looks like itll fit the front of the 400/4....built the system back up and bled it. Once bled it was easy to push the pad out.... 1. Once the pad was out, i gave the whole lot a bit of scotchbrite treatment. The pad has got a fair bit of meat left on it so, once i gave it a going over with the wheel it dropped back in nice and easy so, im just going to reuse that. Theres a bit of corrosion around the piston so if i can find one i will replace but if i cant it should be ok as the corrosion is up around the top where it wont go back over the seal....all in all satisfied.
Managed to find a piston and seal on ebay so just ordered. Ill be collecting the crankcases this week (been off at vapour blasting).
Yeah and the guy said - "you wont need to cerakote them" the peened finish means that dirt wont stick to them...which was a first for me....i never knew that.!
yep - Mr Blast.... 07785 304027 - and yes - hes got a stunning collection of Ducati`s, one he showed me a pic of was an "F07" - some sort of Desmocedici....a track version... https://www.autoyas.com/GB/Bristol/130360383807113/Mr-Blast
