Wasps!

  1. Wash it away with a hose pipe, that's what I did to mine, they hung around for a few days then buggered off.

  2. Wash the fekkers with petrol I would recommend :D

  5. Nothing I hate more than wasps. The look and sound of them really scare me, send shivers down me. Biggest fear would one getting in my car whilst driving, window open, I would probably crash! Little bas..ds. Great pleasure in killing them though

  6. Leave them alone, they will all be out getting pissed on rotting fruit soon, personally I like the wasps attitude to life, do your work then get shitfaced.

  7. had the crash bit happen, but it was a maybug not a wasp and I was a passenger (Morris 1000) with no seatbelt.

  8. What was a Maybug doing driving a car?

  9. deleted a nest today. Got stung before I knew about the nest, it was on a tree limb so fairly easy. I saw the Queen* depart fairly early on but the faithful stayed around for a good 30 minutes afterwards.

  10. Gallon of petrol Chris?

  11. :) started with the "water cannon" (couldn't make out quite where the nest was) then the baked bean can of neat petrol, then the steel dustbin with put out/just burnt embers from loads of cereal boxes, then I cut a nice long skinny branch from the nut tree and left a forked end, on the end and could poke from afar without them even twigging. Then another two tins of petrol followed by a damn good prod! I could make out the nest by now, and i think it fell to the floor at some point, couldn't really see as crash helmet visor had fogged up. I even seem to have got away without upsetting back more so pretty contented.

  13. what are they really for Harry? the person that knows the answer can also probably tell me what an appendix is for.

  14. An Appendix is left over from when we predominately ate leaves and things with Chlorophyll, it was for the digestion of it.

Fucked if I know what Wasps are for though !!!

  15. The feekers like deserted mole holes! Got very badly multi sung while lawn mowing a few years ago.
At least they're easy to annihilate when in a ground bunker!

  17. Interesting read, after I googled 'why are Wasps angry feekers'

  18. re: "my wasps" - it isn't over yet  found a good 50 -100 clinging to the branch where the nest was all day and doing nothing I can see. Just shoved an ammonia soaked cloth up on the branch and wedged it there so hopefully fully sorted by tomorrow.

  19. I bought an aerosol killer which has about a 3m range. Covered the nest in a gel that then turned to a shaving foam effect. Within an hour the nest was melted and chunks fell off.
Was interesting watching the little fecks who weren’t in the nest at the time come back and flying around confused it was gone.

  20. did better than me, Wasps 2 Chris 0 and had to go into extra time.
