  5. NO, he says he's Elvis but he ain't, his eyes are far too close together.

  6. I'm going with 4 mates from 28th to 6th, staying in Douglas.

  7. I'm getting excited now!! Thanks to Phil Boag I'm going (sorry Phil).

Sailing on the Heysham 01.45 crossing on 1st June, leaving on the 4th in the morning.
    Camping at Laxey FC.

Tent, camping stuff, clothes and spare leathers all sorted and going by van with my mate Cal who is there for the whole two weeks.

Not looking forward to the 225 mile ride from Bristol to Heysham on my own, but I've got the whole day free, so it might be a chance to stay off the motorways for a bit.

Never been to the TT before, really looking forward to it now :)

  13. I'm so angry with myself ...
Last year with a days notice I was offered a pillion and a place to stay as my friend marshal TT and MAnxGP
I often see him on TV :)

I couldn't wangle work :( was so so gutted.

It has been on my bucket list since I was 16.
Sadly ( apart from my friend.. Who is now all settled down with his GF )

I don't know anybody who goes , who would want to go.
Please don't laugh I would not know where to start.
Is it all in really expensive?
I know you need to book as this years finishes .

  14. Hey hellcat ,Get yourself over next year !!!

You need to book the ferry starting from monday first week of practice .
it aint that dear example ,£240 return for you and your bike ,camping or homestay ,camping saves a fortune again ,£35 a night homestay with breakfast
So £500 with cover your travel and bb for a week roughly, then spending ,beer food and petrol/fun tokens a grand a week has u living like a king with some left over for a week well i do anyway
Dont worry about going yourself its an island of bikers you will have a ball only be yourself till u get to the ferry terminal :upyeah:

  15. Ill be there on both those dates :)

  16. Big Thumpa, i was told you can't book for next year until the races are over, you say you can, forgive my ignorance but is this true.

  17. Yeah steam packet starts taking booking from monday of practice . So your booking for next year before you have been this year ,you will have to pay a deposit only .

  18. Thanx BT, I will be booking on the monday then.

  19. Hi All, i have just been looking at the TTsite, can anyone tell me if the Crag is Grandstand only at £20 or can you just stand and watch for free.

  20. You can stand for free, sit at the side of the road no problem.
