just installed an MRA X-Creen ... much higher quality than the made in China knock-off that i purchased a few months ago. i checked with my amico Fx Nhieu to see how he has the X-Creen adjusted on his Multi ... pretty close to what i did ... so will test tomorrow.
On my KTM, I've got mine as close to the original screen as possible and pretty much vertical. I found the straight up approach gives nearly as much protection as an R1200RT screen.
test ride got pushed until Monday ... riding down CA 1 from Santa Cruz to Santa Barbara. will report findings on X-Creen upon return.
Huh, I was in Santa Cruz a few months back. Also went for a ride in San Mateo with a few friends of mine before covid hit. Didn't know we had members out here!
and CA-1 is not even close to being the best riding road we have in Northern California ... in the top ten, but bottom half of the top ten. if you make it over here, let me know... i'll show you some brilliant riding roads.
Alice's is about 10 miles from my house. we do have some pretty nice riding roads in the area ... 35 and 84 are NOT the good roads ... too heavily patrolled, and too many tourists and squids.
